The U.K.'s Topshop Comes into New York Like a Lamb...

Even with Kate Moss at the helm. 

The much anticipated Topshop opening in Soho will be a quiet affair, in reverence to the all-encompassing economic crisis. Kate Moss, the chic discount store's celebrity designer du jour, will be there, but without much fanfare. The shop will sell designer-type threads for those with champagne taste but beer pockets. 

Sir Philip Green, the owner of Topshop, did tell The Daily Mail though that Moss "will hopefully be coming over" for the opening "to give it some glamour."
